Thanks to the Seattle Parks and Recreation, and their Teen Development Leader, Connor Durham, live music is coming back to Golden Gardens at Shilshole Beach in Ballard.
And what about the yummy muffins? Well, we can thank Flingoctabob for that. They’ll be performing “The Muffin Song” during their October 14th concert at the Golden Garden’s newly renovated Bathhouse, overlooking the beautiful Shilshole Beach in Ballard.
Doors open at 8:00pm and the concert is free to the public. Connor Durham will be coordinating more concerts throughout the school year. The Bathhouse concerts are free to the public and directed to our youth who benefit greatly from having access to fun and safe entertainment.
Additional concerts will be held twice quarterly and pick up speed next summer with three concerts per month if all goes well. Join Flingoctabob and Pirates of The Caring Being for a fun evening at the beach on October 14th.

Flingoctabob believes: “music is essentially an expression of its creator. When the four members of flingoctabob joined forces to unleash their musical vision of the world, they came up with something truly different. Once in a while, an archeologist will stumble upon something that looks ordinary on the outside, but on the inside happens to be something more valuable than any amount of money. These boys strive to be that find. Appearances are decieving, yet in this case, one can hardly make up their mind about these four young men based on appearance alone. With a sound that varies from classical to metal, (yet all the while avoiding the cliches of rock and roll that are found way too often these days) it is not just a listening experience, but an expression of something that only music can convey. Just close your eyes an let the music take you on a journey...”
